Interested in being a part of a young, flexible organization aiming to solve social issues from a co-creation and design thinking approach? There are two spots available at Design for Humanity: one for an internship and one for a graduate project.
As an intern you will mainly assist us with design research on democracy (specific sub-themes will be given by our future partners) and formulating designable challenges based on the design research and input from partners. The outcome of the design research also needs to be shared with our community before and during the Social Innovation Challenge. How? Videos, animations, mock-ups or infographics could be options, but we are open for your ideas!
The graduation student will develop a solution to prevent elderly (55+) from loneliness. The new service, product or combination is meant to raise awareness and/or give tools to deal with events that occur when becoming older. How to use your talents after retiring? How can you still make new friends? How to keep a social life when losing mobility? The exact scope will be defined together with the client: Het Nationaal Ouderenfonds.
